7 Mobile Apps I Use Daily
A list of 7 of my favourite and most used mobile applications, and they are all free.
In today's fast-paced world, it's essential to have the right tools to keep track of your work, hobbies, and interests. In this article, I'll share seven mobile apps that I use every day to stay organized and productive.
While I believe that most of the apps I will mention may not necessarily be unknown, I always try to follow a very minimalist approach to most of the things I do, and thus found creative ways of using these apps, which I hope you find useful.
Notes — surprisingly one of the apps I use the most. I have tried downloading to-do lists, scanning apps, note-taking apps, and apps that offered password protection for confidential notes - either I couldn’t really stick to using them or Notes just ended up having the same functions later. The truth is that today I do all of that using Notes.
Whatsapp — for instant messages, of course, calls, and another interesting use I have for Whatsapp: file-sharing, with others and between my phone and my computer as well. Unless the file is super large which I will then upload into my drive from the phone.
Linkedin — a business and employment-focused social media platform owned by Microsoft and my favourite social media by far. I use it to engage with my professional network, recruit and learn.
Youtube — the leading global online video-sharing and social media platform. The videos I predominantly watch are interviews, comedy, reviews, and insights on very specific subjects. You can find a list of my preferred channels here.
Gmail — a free email service provided by Google I use to keep track of my emails and attend video calls (Google Meet).
Apple Podcasts — an audio streaming service and media player application developed by Apple that enables me to listen to my favorite podcasts on-the-go. I am actually about to replace it with Spotify. This way I can merge what I currently use Apple Music and Apple Podcasts into a single app.
Substack — well, should I still introduce it? I currently use Substack to read publications, listen to podcasts, and even watch videos. As more of the leading publishers move into the platform - who knows it might become my single app for all these activities.
Is there any app you found a very creative way of using - which differs from the norm? I would love to read it in the comments section below.
